In 1988 Bob and Jim Caperton had the vision that security for home and business would blossom into a huge industry. They were right.
Jim was the “techie” with a background in computers and economics. Bob was the consummate salesman, always moving, always helping people.
They always told us to “begin by beginning”. In starting with little capital; selling and installing security systems themselves, with no structure and no office help, they certainly proved to everyone that this bias toward action was effective.
In the early 90’s they partnered with AT&T in the marketing of their highly successful system. In 1994, Crime Free USA® started installing advanced wireless systems, now manufactured by General Electric. This new partnership has enabled Crime Free USA® to grow into one of the largest independent security companies in the Southeast.
When Bob died in 2001, he left a legacy of excellence and performance that is unique in the security industry. Bob had a special dream: he felt that, if given the right opportunity and environment, people would flourish. He did everything he could to foster the attitude of success in all the people he came in contact with.
We continue to carry on Bob’s legacy of excellence and the attitude of putting people first.
