With the latchkey solution, you can be paged to let you know when your children or elderly family members arrive home safely. You simply enter what time they're expected home and the system will automatically page you to let you know that they have arrived safely. Once your children are secure in the home, they can then set the system to protect the entry points of the house so they know they're safe inside until you arrive home.
The hostage code feature means that if someone should threaten your family and force their way into your home, you can alert the emergency services just by entering a unique hostage code into the main panel. It will
behave just as if you were disarming the system normally but will then let the monitoring station know that there is a hostage situation in your home. The police will then silently approach your home and resolve the situation.
The Emergency Button means that help is never more than a few minutes away. In the event of a fire or medical emergency in your home, by simply pressing the large emergency button the emergency services will be dispatched to your home almost immediately. If there is an emergency in your home, the time you saved could very well save your family’s lives.
You can operate your CrimeFree™ system remotely just by using a telephone, and with the addition of an X-10 module, you can also control the lights and many other electrical appliances in your home. You can give the appearance of someone being at home even when you're away which acts as a great deterrent for any would be burglars.
